Mick Collins, SAP SuccessFactors
Mick Collins is a Global Vice President for the SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics & Planning products. In this capacity, he oversees presales strategy and execution, with specific responsibilities including go-to-market messaging, commercialization strategy, sales enablement, prospect & customer engagement, alliance management, and product thought leadership. With 12+ years of experience in analytics & planning, Mick has delivered hundreds of presentations and workshops to public- and private-sector organizations on how to build their capabilities for data-driven decision-making in HR. Mick is a frequent speaker at major conferences, including those hosted by SAP, the Human Capital Institute, Evanta, IHRIM, the Talent Management Alliance, the American Strategic Management Institute, and SAP SuccessFactors. Original content includes workshops on Actionable Analytics, Rollout Planning for Workforce Analytics, and Communicating Workforce Metrics. In addition, Mick has published many articles, most recently “Data Ethics and Enterprise Analytics”, “Time to Upskill: Core Competencies for Workforce Analytics”, “The Business Case for Workforce Analytics in the Cloud”, and “Critical Decisions in Launching a Workforce Analytics Program”. Prior to his current role in presales, Mick, from 2009 to 2010, served as the lead strategy consultant for numerous SAP SuccessFactors workforce analytics and/or workforce planning clients, including several Fortune 500 enterprises. Partnering with senior HR executives, Mick provided executive engagement, data analysis, change management consulting, and practitioner training. Earlier in his career, Mick was Vice President of Marketing at Infohrm (the firm acquired by SAP SuccessFactors in July 2010), leading the firm’s global marketing activities. From 1999-2006, Mick help various positions with the Corporate Executive Board (now Gartner) including Senior Consultant (CLC Metrics), Associate Director (Corporate Strategy Board) and Research Manager (Corporate Leadership Council). Mick has a Masters degree in Political Science from Virginia Tech and a BA (Hons) in Economics & Politics from the University of Leeds, England.
