Theresa Westlund, Northern Kentucky University

Theresa Westlund is the Senior Business Analyst for the Human Capital Management SAP system at Northern Kentucky University. She is responsible for the management of all SAP Human Resource (HR) related projects from the point of business requirements gathering, configuration, implementation, and production support. She served as the Project Lead for the Project Re-engineering Information Systems Management (PRISM) project for payroll, time, benefits, ESS/MSS, and all associated HCM modules. Northern Kentucky University had a successful implementation and conversion of all data and associated systems in October 2007. Since 2007, some of the additional functionality that has been successfully implemented is the first successful SAP Effort Certification Module, ESS/MSS time recording and approval, Enterprise Compensation Management (ECM), HCM Processes and Forms, and Benefits ESS Annual Enrollment (EhP6). Northern Kentucky University's innovative approach to implementing SAP has earned it the ASUG Impact Award in 2010. It is the first time a college or university has received the award in its 12-year history.
